The Cincinnati Bengals (4-6) were defeated 35-34 by the Ravens (7-3)  in Baltimore on Thursday Night Football.

The Bengals and Ravens put on an entertaining performance on Thursday night with a combined score of 69 points. The fourth quarter was by far the most exciting of the game, with a combined five touchdowns from the two teams.

The Bengals started off the scoring in the first half with a one-yard touchdown run by Chase Brown on the opening drive. The Ravens responded with a touchdown of their own in the second quarter, with a six-yard grab by Nelson Agholor to tie up the game at seven points. After a three-yard touchdown pass from Joe Burrow, the Bengals took the lead with only 30 seconds remaining in the first half.

The Bengals entered the second half leading 14-7 and received the kickoff. Only two minutes into the second half, Joe Burrow hit Ja’Marr Chase on a crossing route that Chase took to the endzone for a 67-yard touchdown to increase their lead to two scores.

Then after a one-yard touchdown run by Derrick Henry, the Ravens began their comeback. After trailing by 14 points, the Ravens scored three straight touchdowns to take the lead 28-21 with five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. Less than 20 seconds after the Ravens took the lead, Joe Burrow tied up the game 28-28 with a 70-yard touchdown pass that was caught by Ja’Marr Chase.

With five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, the Ravens took their time getting down the field and scored a touchdown to take the lead 35-28. With only 90 seconds remaining, the Bengals took the ball down the field and scored a touchdown. Instead of kicking an extra point to tie the game at 35-35 for a chance to go to overtime, Bengals Head Coach Zac Taylor decided to go for two points in an attempt to take the lead. After a missed facemask call against the Ravens, the Bengals were unable to convert on the two-point conversion, and the Ravens ran the last 30 seconds off the clock to hold on for the 35-34 win.
